New Southerly 535

New Southerly 535

22nd January, 2013

The first Hull for the Southerly 535 by Dubois, has just been released from its mould. Both the hull and deck have been 5 axis milled for total accuracy and precision. This yacht is now in the early stages of fit out, due for launch this summer.

This stunning blue water cruiser will offer excellent performance and has been designed to be easily sailed by just two people. Luxurious accommodation, a mid cockpit layout and variable draft, all within a thoroughly seaworthy design, makes the 535 the ideal yacht for many. In addition to the panoramic views from the raised coachroof, tri-view vertical portlight windows in the aft cabin and saloon provide increased vision outwards at lower levels.

Built to individual customer order, the first yacht has a high USA specification including sternthruster, bowthruster, a double headsail rig, powered headstay furlers, in boom furling, Spectra sails, plus the latest Raymarine electronics. After initial sea trials, this yacht will be sailed to the Mediterranean, before crossing the Atlantic.

We are pleased to announce, the second 535 is sold and is also in build. This yacht will be built to EU specification to include a grey coloured hull and carbon fibre mast. She will be kept in the Solent and will be available for test sails, by arrangement.

Please contact the Southerly Sales Team for further details or to view this yacht in build.
